CHARTER TEAM SUPPORT
HAVE QUESTIONS?
We have collected answers to the most common questions to make preparing for your dream cruise as easy as possible. If you cannot find the information you need, contact us directly.
Where is your base and how do I get there?
Our base is Marina Frapa in Rogoznica, located in central Dalmatia. It is one of the safest marinas on the Adriatic coast and offers excellent shelter in all weather conditions. The marina is 30 km from Split Airport and 100 km from Zadar Airport. The easiest way to get there is by taxi, and we can organise this transfer for you.
Do I need a sailing licence to charter a yacht?
Not necessarily. If no crew member has a sailing licence, we offer charter with a trusted and experienced skipper.
What is included in the price and what costs extra?
We value honesty, so we guarantee no hidden costs. Every yacht charter includes a dinghy with an outboard engine. We also provide bed linen and towels for each crew member. On board you will also find kitchen towels, a sponge, dishwashing liquid, soap, and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Paid extras include early check-in, SUP board rental, two-person kayaks, skipper service, unlimited Wi-Fi where it is not already included for the yacht, and a safety net.
Do I need to book marina berths along the route in advance?
In high season, we strongly recommend booking berths in marinas and at popular restaurants in advance. Outside the main tourist season, finding a free berth on the day should usually not be a problem.
How do on-site payments and the deposit work?
In our marina office you can pay in Euro by cash or by card, Visa or Mastercard. The refundable deposit covers possible damage and can be blocked on a credit card, with a physical card required, or paid in cash on site.
Is there internet access on the yacht?
Selected yachts in our fleet, such as Lagoon 52F and Portofino 53, have free Wi-Fi. For other vessels, Wi-Fi is available as a paid extra at 30 EUR per week.
What formalities and documents do I need before the cruise?
After full payment for the charter, you will receive an email with a link to the Crew List, which must be completed no later than 3 days before arrival. Please also send copies of the skipper sailing licence and VHF radio operator licence in advance. Remember that original documents must be presented during check-in at the base.
I am planning to buy my own yacht. Do you provide advisory services?
Yes, we also work as yacht brokers. We help throughout the purchase process: from finding the right vessel, through checking its technical condition, to support with formalities, financing or leasing, and registration under a Polish or Croatian flag. We can also deliver the purchased yacht to its new marina.
